Absolutely Cuckoo is my favourite Magnetic Fields song mostly because although the lyrics look like this:
…they are sung like this:
…i.e. with no gaps or line breaks. This is perfect because it makes the song so much more nutty even though let’s face it, it is already pretty hatstand. Essentially it is like writing a love letter with no full stops or commas. (You must never do this.)
