This Sunday there will be: FEATHERS & THAT

This Sunday (21st October) I shall find myself in the delightful position of judging a wedding dress competition. It will be at the Most Curious Wedding Fair, at St. Andrews Hall, Norwich. From what I have already seen, it will be a riot of feathers, tulle and non-dread white frocks - which is to say, it is the kind of wedding fair where meringues are actively banned, unless they are the kind you put into your facehole.*
The Most Curious Wedding Fair is run by Becky Ho, an all-round and thoroughly modern, entrepreneurial whirlwind who is hoping to introduce brides to the more larksome end of the wedding industry. So it is less about matching your balloons to your sugared almonds; and more about having a massive party that actually reflects the people who are promising to snog each other, foreverandever. Anyhonks, I am dead excited, I think it will be mega, and if you are ‘Norwich’ you should definitely come down and say hello.
*If you have never had a hazelnut meringue from Ottolenghi do step away from your laptop, get on the train to that London and have one now. They are that nice.
